Before you book
We are open for non-residents daily from 07:00 – 22:30. Residents can enter the premises around the clock, 24/7.
Yes, certainly! We do have enough space to accomodate small groups for conferences of up to around 12-18 pax in total. What our customers enjoy most is the fact that groups are also able to split up into smaller groups around the lodge during workshops. For you individual needs, please don’t hesitate to send us a message so we can prepare a custom quotation for you.
We are able to host you for your wedding, however we can only provide enough space for around 30 guests. Furthermore, we can provide service for catering / food. We are not a wedding planner, though. Please get in touch with us or have your wedding planner contact us so we can make it the best day of your life.
As we are both a lodge and restaurant, we do welcome non-residents to our premises. Please note that we can not offer extensive birthday parties including music until late night. You are more than welcome to have your birthday lunch or dinner, though, which is free of charge. You are only paying for anything you consume. Also, please do not bring any drinks or food from outside. For larger groups, we recommend booking one of our buffet lunches / dinners.
Certainly! We do offer our swimming pool to residents for free as well as for non-residents for just K70 for adults and K40 for children, from 11:00 up to 18:00 hours. Please note that our pool is closed for maintenance from around june to august due to the colder weather.
Absolutely! We do have a fully stocked bar with a variety of beers, wines and spirits as well as a restaurant offering breakfast (from 7:00 to 10:30) as well as lunch and dinner (open from 13:00 to 21:30).
Unfortunately our free WiFi is limited to residents at the lodge.
Although we want our guests to roam as free as possible, we must ask every guest to adhere to our house rules when staying at the lodge as well as our terms & conditions when making any bookings. Please make sure to read them before you make a booking with us.

Traveling in Zambia
Kabwe is generally quite safe, but like anywhere in the world it is best to be careful with your belongings and keep them packed up when travelling, walking around town or doing any sorts of activities.
We recommend taking a taxi after dark, even for groups. Taxis from and to town should not cost more than K40 one-way. We do have a phone number for our taxi driver, just ask at the bar or reception. He is very reliable.
Yes, we do! We have our own personal taxi driver who will get you to Kabwe in around 2 hours and 30 minutes. We charge ~$100 for a maximum of 4 pax per vehicle. Please get in touch with us beforehand so we have your flight details.
Yes, you do need a visa to enter Zambia. You can apply for a visa online or just take $50 with you which will be paid on arrival in Zambia. If you need a double entry visa, take $80. Lusaka Kenneth Kaunda International airport recently introduced credit card machines so swiping with VISA shall also be possible.
Although our water comes from our own borehole and is generally considered safe to drink (tested), we recommend bringing packaged water or buy it at our bar since the taste.
From Lusaka: Drive into town until you are at the junction just before the railway line, you will probably notice it as this is always busy. Turn left and follow the street for 200-300 meters until you see our sign “Kabwe Safari Lodge” on the left side. Turn and follow another 150 meters until you find the lodge on the left side.
From Ndola: Keep on the main road and drive through Kabwe. After crossing the railway line, turn a sharp right (watch out this junction is always busy) and follow the street for about 200-300 meters until you see a sign “Kabwe Safari Lodge” on the left side. Turn and follow another 150 meters until you see the lodge on your left side.
